Dr. A. R. R. Menon, Former Senior Scientist of Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi, Thrissur, Kerala, Currently working as Director (Research) at GeoVin Solutions, was born on 24th July 1951 in Kottayam, Kerala. He is having 37 years of Post Doctoral Research Experience in the field of forestry and Remote Sensing. To his credit, he has 184 scientific publications in the field of forestry, Remote Sensing, GIS and allied topics (103 research papers in National and International journals, 35 Research reports, 12 extension project reports, 25 consultancy project reports, 8 proceedings/chapters in books, and 1 handbook). He is an approved research guide of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), University of Calicut, and Forest Research Institute, Deemed University, Dehradun. 15 students completed their PhD courses under his guidance. Currently he is also serving as visiting faculty in Kerala Agriculture University, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, and Amrita University, Kerala.
Vinod P G is a Scientist (Geomatics division) of GeoVin Solutions (P) Ltd. He has got decade of experience in National and State level organizations in India. He received his B. Sc. degree in Physics from the Mahatma Gandhi University in 1997 and Masters degree in Computer Applications from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2001. He also holds a diploma in Geoinformatics. He is a Certified WebGIS and Opensource GIS professional. He is also a visiting faculty in several engineering colleges in Kerala. He has attended numerous workshops and trainings offered by National and International agencies over the last 10 years in topics including GIS and Remote sensing, Web GIS, Open source Operating System, management information systems, Carbon footprint mapping, etc. His areas of specialization includes GIS and Remote Sensing, GIS advisory, Project formulation and implementation, GIS based research guidance, Training and capacity building, Environment Resource Management, Environment and Social Impact Assessment, and Carbon Sequestration Studies. He has published several papers in conference proceedings and international journals.

Nalinakumar works as Senior Scientist at GeoVin Solutions (P) Ltd. Earlier he has also worked for prestigious institutions like Centre for Earth Science Studies,Thiruvananthapuram and Kerala State land use board. He is having 35 years of research experience and has worked in projects that include Terrain evaluation for the State of Kerala through geological, geomorphological and Satellite Remote Sensing techniques with considerable amount of field investigations, Resource Inventory (PRM) and Wetland mapping, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Watershed development for the micro-level spatial planning (Decentralized Planning). He is an expert in Watershed development studies.
Geography, GIS and Remote Sensing
Shaleena Elizabeth John is a GIS Analyst with GeoVin Solutions. She has a B. Sc degree in Geography from the University of Kerala in 2008 and M. Sc degree in Geography (Geomorphology) from the University of Pune in 2010. She holds a Diploma in Geoinformatics. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics in Earth Science from Geological Survey of India Training Institute (GSI-TI), Hyderabad in affiliation with Osmania University, Hyderabad. Her main research interests are in the areas of Remote Sensing and GIS, Geomorphology, Land use/land cover change, etc. Her duty with GeoVin Solutions includes Remote Sensing and GIS data analysis and mapping, Report preparation, assisting in field/survey work.
Ajin R. S is a Research Associate with GeoVin Solutions since December 2013. He received his B. Sc. degree in Geology from the University of Kerala in 2010 and M. Sc. degree in Applied Geology from the University of Madras (Madras University First Rank Holder M. Sc. Applied Geology) in 2012. He is the recipient of Madras University Merit Fellowship (MUMF) during his M. Sc. course. His main research interests are in the areas of Remote Sensing and GIS, Natural Resource Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, etc. He has published papers in International/National journals and conference proceedings. He has participated in many conferences related to Geology, Geomatics and Environmental Science. His duty with GeoVin Solutions includes Remote Sensing and GIS data analysis and mapping, Report preparation, environmental sample collection (groundwater, surface water), and assisting in field/survey work.
